Andrew Marsh is back. Speculation surrounded his future during the offseason, following an unexpected coaching transition. He made his return official on February 2.

Why Stay?

Marsh said a "whole bunch of things" factored into his decision to stay. He spoke with people around him, and ultimately wanted to stay where his "feet are planted." He wanted to make sure everything was "squared away" here before looking elsewhere.

Marsh said he felt good early on about returning. He cited his position coming off last year, and the trajectory of the team. After talks with teammates, they wanted to "stick it out." He said they wanted to play with the guys and "keep it Michigan."

Looking Ahead

Marsh headlines an offense that should blossom under new offensive coordinator Jason Beck and with returning talent across the offensive line. Michigan fired Sherrone Moore and hired Kyle Whittingham, Jason Beck as OC, Micah Simon and Marques Hagans as receivers and assistant receivers coach.

Marsh led the Wolverines in catches (45), receiving yards (651) and receiving touchdowns (4) as a true freshman.
